This style earring was designed to be worn with the wire going through the piercing from the back of the earlobe...it boils down to how YOU want to wear them and the look that you like. I have shown two methods for putting this style earring on.
THREADED FROM BACK
METHOD 1 THREADED FROM BACK (REVERSE)
STEP 1
Turn the ear wire up side down and thread through the back of your earlobe to the front (this will move the bead out of the way). Keep enough gap between the end wires to comfortably put the earrings on, also creating adequate tension.
There needs to be enough opening between the end wires to slip over your earlobe, and to create tension when the ends are crossed or secured.
If the gap is not wide enough to put the earring on, hold the earring as shown, and gently bend one leg of the wire towards you, increasing the gap.
STEP 2
The wire should look like the picture before continuing to the final step; the un-flattened end will be over the bead.
STEP 3
Take the wire and flip it over and behind the other end, and over the top of the bead.
REVERSE STEPS TO REMOVE otherwise, the bead will get in the way of taking the earring out.
METHOD 2 THREADED FROM FRONT
To get the crystal out of the way, slide the crystal up the wire, enough to easily thread the wire through your piercing, then let the crystal fall back into position.
